As usual, lengthy time since my last upload, but I maintain the record of still uploading at least once a year. No promises that I can upload again this year, but I will see what the future holds. I haven't been logged in, but I have checked my discord server occasionally and it's been awesome to see that the art and the artist here have only gotten better. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: This is a interpretation based of the greek description Greek Siren, which are described as women with the bodies of a sparrow from the neck down. Initally this project came to mind because of a PJ contest prompt for "๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ", but in its own description for examples of merpeople, it mentioned "๐๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ด". Kind've funny if you think about it, that classic sirens are actually more akin to birds than fish [๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ช๐ฅ๐ด]. I did my best to illustrate the Colour scheme of a sparrow into Clausti's design, but this pallette simply doesn't allow. I still made her talons share the same characteristics of a sparrow outside of the colours used. Appropriate colour scheme would've been greys, browns, red and white with the possibility to sneak in some beige tones. PS: I did not finish the submission on time to be able to submit it to the PJ contest. Nonetheless I'm making the most of it. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐๐๐
